Geography, Geology, and Technology –
See how 7th and 8th grade Science students created Google Earth tours of rock formations and landforms. Students used Google Maps to make geographically-themed clues that hint at a series of destinations, exported the data to .kml files, and now invite you to solve the clues. Learn how to easily integrate your own themes and content with the fun of geographical exploration.

21st Century PenPal Relationships: How to Make it Happen Using 21st Century Tools -
The 5-8 students of Folsom School and the Institute Sainte Jeanne d’Arc (ISJA) in Brignoles, France have been communicating and sharing projects. In October 2012, 30 students from ISJA spent a week in South Hero. This session is an interactive sharing and discussion of the “how-to” and experiences involved in this endeavor. If possible, I will have the French teacher Yves Gouast use Skype/Google Hangout to participate in this session.
