Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

In this session I will be sharing how the iPad can support, enhance and enrich the Common Core State Standards for students in early elementary school. I will be sharing a variety of Apps and examples of student work that get at specific skill content as well as those Apps that foster creativity and innovation for teachers and students.

Vocabulary is an important part in the Common Core Standards. I will be highlighting how the iPad and Apps can support the development and use of higher-level vocabulary when working with young students in all content areas. I will highlight how the iPads have enhanced and supported student engagement throughout the curriculum (highlighting Common Core Standards addressed) within and outside of the classroom.

Finally, I will share how my students and their families have evolved and become more connected with the use of iPads and how we all have transformed in our thinking and discoveries we have made in regards to learning.

Please make sure you have set up an iTunes account prior to coming to this session and don’t forget to bring your iTunes ID and Password with you.
