Join the journey of a first grade teacher and a technology integration specialist who embarked on a goal to write a yearlong unit for community and family history that integrates technology in all aspects possible. Our first grade students are using Google Sites as portfolios, iPads to create eBooks, Google Draw to create maps, mapping on the iPads and much more. Students are excited about their work! They are asking to put both academic and creative work on their portfolios. We'll share with you our journey from beginning to end.
